Privacy Policy

How we handle your information.

Last updated September 8, 2026.

Giganti & Giganti Fine Jewelry (“Giganti,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://gigantijewelry.com. This policy explains the personal information we collect through our website and related online services, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

Information you provide may include:

  • Your name, email address, optional phone number, selected area of interest, and message when you contact us.
  • Contact, appointment, ring-design, and saved-configuration information you submit through JewelerOS.
  • Your email or text-message preferences and records of consent or opt-out.
  • Information you provide when communicating with us about an appointment, design, service, repair, or order.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, health information, or other sensitive information in a website message.

We and our providers may also collect:

  • Internet and device information, such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring page, and date and time of access.
  • Website activity, such as pages and products viewed, product name, vendor, category and price, and clicks involving the ring builder or appointment scheduling.
  • Advertising and analytics identifiers, including cookies, similar identifiers, and referral information associated with an advertisement.
  • Appointment-completion and appointment-type information used to understand whether scheduling and advertising are working.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and from providers that support the website, appointments, analytics, and advertising.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer service.
  • To schedule appointments and assist with designs, repairs, services, and orders.
  • To send transactional updates related to your request.
  • To send marketing email or text messages when you have separately opted in.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • To understand website use and product interest.
  • To measure advertising performance and whether an advertisement resulted in an inquiry or appointment.
  • To maintain records, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How We Disclose Information

We disclose information as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including to:

  • JewelerOS, which provides appointment scheduling and custom ring-builder experiences, together with providers that support those experiences, including RudderStack.
  • Resend, which delivers website contact messages to our team.
  • Vercel, which hosts the website and provides web analytics.
  • Google Analytics, which helps us understand website activity and appointment completions.
  • OpenAI Ads, which helps us measure website activity and advertising conversions, subject to your privacy choices.
  • Google Maps, which receives technical information from your browser when the embedded map loads.
  • Other hosting, security, communications, professional, or legal providers when reasonably necessary.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law, needed to protect rights or safety, or connected with a business reorganization.

These providers may process information under their own terms as well as under their agreements with us.

Advertising Measurement

Subject to your privacy choices, OpenAI Ads may receive page views, product information, ring-builder or appointment clicks, and completed inquiry or appointment events.

After a successfully delivered contact inquiry, we convert your normalized email address into a one-way SHA-256 hash and may send that hash to OpenAI Ads with advertising referral identifiers, browser information, the time of the inquiry, and a lead event. Depending on our OpenAI Ads account settings, supported contact fields entered on the page may also be detected and hashed in your browser for advertising matching. We do not intentionally include your message contents in advertising events. We treat hashed contact identifiers as personal information under this policy.

Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money.

Some privacy laws may treat advertising technologies as a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. You may turn off our advertising measurement through Your Privacy Choices.

We do not sell mobile phone numbers or text-message consent information. We do not disclose mobile opt-in information to third parties for their own marketing. We may provide it to vendors that support our messaging program only as needed to provide that service.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Necessary technologies support security, forms, navigation, saved preferences, and services you request.
  • Analytics technologies from Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics help us understand website use.
  • Advertising technologies from OpenAI Ads help measure advertising activity and conversions, subject to your privacy choices.
  • Preference storage remembers choices such as a dismissed announcement and your privacy setting.

Some analytics and advertising providers may collect activity over time or across websites or services, depending on their settings and identifiers. Browser controls may also let you delete or block cookies, although some requested functionality may then be limited.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn off advertising measurement for that browser or device. It overrides an earlier website choice to allow that measurement.

Global Privacy Control is browser and device specific. Because there is no uniform standard for ordinary “Do Not Track” signals, the website does not respond to those signals. We honor Global Privacy Control as described above.

Email and Text Choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in the message. If you have opted in to text messages, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Providing a phone number in the ordinary contact form does not enroll you in marketing text messages. Additional text-message terms are available in our Terms of Service.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. This may include responding to requests, providing service, maintaining customer and warranty records, evaluating website and campaign performance, recording consent or opt-out choices, resolving disputes, and satisfying accounting or legal obligations.

Retention varies based on the type of record, our relationship with you, provider settings, legal requirements, security needs, and whether a dispute is pending. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

Your Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, obtain a portable copy, learn how it has been used or disclosed, or opt out of certain uses.

Whether or not a particular state law applies, you may ask us about access, correction, or deletion by emailing contact@gigantijewelry.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” or by calling (217) 793-3300.

We may ask for information needed to verify the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, and we may request proof of authorization. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal our decision, reply to the decision email with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the website.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or privacy practices change. We will post the revised version here, change the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice when required by law.
